• Designed, developed, and deployed React and Next.js web applications and React Native mobile interfaces for the Baltimore Main Streets Program, a digital commerce modernization initiative supported by the Baltimore City Government to bring local retail businesses online.
• Created reusable, modular UI components including dashboards, storefront management panels, product listings, checkout flows, and analytics views using React Hooks, Context API, and TypeScript for scalable and maintainable architecture.
• Integrated Matterport 3D visualization technology to transform physical storefronts into immersive digital experiences, allowing users to explore local shops virtually and increasing customer engagement by more than twenty-five percent.
• Built responsive and adaptive user interfaces optimized for cross-platform compatibility using Flexbox, CSS Grid, and adaptive breakpoints, ensuring smooth and consistent experiences across web, Android, and iOS.
• Integrated Shopify Web APIs to manage real-time product catalogs, pricing, and transactions directly within the platform’s UI, enabling seamless e-commerce flows for small businesses.
• Enhanced application speed and responsiveness through lazy loading, client-side caching, and virtual DOM optimization, reducing initial load time by thirty percent and improving runtime stability under high traffic.
• Implemented secure authentication and user session management using Clerk, providing frictionless sign-in, multi-tenant identity handling, and OAuth integrations for merchants and program administrators.
• Collaborated with backend engineers to consume and validate REST APIs, ensuring reliable data delivery, structured error handling, and consistent UI synchronization across all endpoints.
• Established CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions to automate builds, testing, and deployments, decreasing manual overhead by more than half and supporting continuous iteration cycles.
